Description
Colorless lead glass; cast, polished, acid-etched, gilded, painted. Rectangular flat pane with cut, polished and gilded edges; top surface has 'HAWKES - GLASS / GRAND PRIZE / PARIS' with a trefoil enclosing two hawks and a fleur-de-lis and 'HAWKES' beneath, acid-etched and then gilded; blue painted backing on reverse underneath inscription.
