Description
Colorless lead glass; blown and gilt. Tall round funnel bowl with gilt rim and gilt decoration, consisting of a pair of barley sprays on one side, and trailing pendant hops and leaves on the other; tall straight stem enclosing a double series opaque white twist (single twelve-ply spiral band encircling two intertwined heavy spiral threads); conical foot; rough pontil mark; inscribed in white paint near the pontil mark "138.".
