Description
Colorless lead glass; mold-blown, tooled, cut, ground and polished. (A-C) Footed conical; glasses in varying diameters and heights of basic elongated conical shape with cracked-off, ground and polished, slightly angled rim; body decorated with two "v" cuts, the first placed slightly below the rim and running horizontally to the foot encircling slightly less than one-half of the circumference, second cut meets the left end of top cut and extends approximately 3/4 length of vessel at an angle paralleling wall of body; wide plain tooled conical foot; no pontil; inscribed "Carlo Moretti" by edge of rim on upper side of foot; (Cc) has "Carlo Moretti" label; all have acetate label, "made in Italy".
