Description
Colorless (grey) non-lead glass; blown, enameled. Cylindrical form, with rounded shoulders, tapered neck; trailed neck ring; polychrome enameled decoration, a floral band on the shoulder; a wide band on the side, with a large, fantastic bird, inscribed above and below in script, elaborate flowering plants at either side; inscribed in script and dated "1790" on the reverse, looped bands above and below; kick on the bottom, with rough pontil mark.
