Description
Very pale greenish blue transparent glass; mold-blown, spherical with one handle applied. Rim outsplayed, with rounded lip finished by fire-polishing; neck short, cylindrical, wider at bottom than at top; no pontil mark. Continuous vertical mold seam extends from top of neck to base, then returns to top of neck; seam is associated on one side of neck with vertical crease. Narrow strap handle dropped onto upper neck and outside of rim adjacent to mold seam, then drawn out and down, and reattached to top of wall. Entire body decorated with overall pattern of 12 pentagons, each sharing with its neighbors double outlines in relief, and with raised dot at each corner. Glass has few very small bubbles.
