Description
Bowl. Transparent bright blue; few bubbles and dark inclusions. Blown in dip mold. Bowl shaped like truncated cone. Rim plain, with rounded lip, which is chamfered on outside; wall straight and tapering, curving in at bottom; base plain and slightly convex; pontil mark. Wall is covered from just below rim to bottom with continuous band of honeycomb ornament arranged in six horizontal rows containing (from top to bottom): (1-3) about 20 roughly hexagonal compartments, and (4-6) about 16 similar compartments.
