Matchbox Containing 17 Glass Parts of Marine Animals (3 Types). Colorless and white glasses, wood, paper; lampworked. Glass parts of marine animals in three general types: double-walled domes with white stripes, solid hemispheres that have horizontal divot in bottom, and curved shapes with ruffled edges. Glass parts stored in two-part matchbox covered in blue paper. Rectangular yellowed paper label with German inscription affixed to bottom of box. Rectangular paper label with hand-written Latin inscription and illustration of marine parts hand-drawn in pencil affixed to top of box.
