Colorless glass with gradation of amber, orange and purple; blown with hot applications, sandblasted, engraved. Inverted conical shape of colorless tinted on interior with pale amber powder which darkens at rim edge; rim edged with a thin wrap of orange kugler; flared body decorated with parallel images of large Japanese sumie drawing brushes -- one complete and one cropped, with sandblasted handles and engraved hairs; solid narrow foot comprised of a patty of purple glass; rough stippled pontil; signed on base: Transjo R/C Paul Hoff 26/10.2"
