Description

Mt. Washington Burmese Vase. Pink and yellow translucent glass; blown, tooled, enameled, gilded, ground. Large vase flares to rounded shoulder and tapers to cylindrical neck and rim decorated with applied gold and pigments. Vase is decorated with a desert scene of camels, figure reclining on a carpet, pyramids, the Sphinx, clouds, palm tree and setting sun. Scalloped gold design around top of lip.
