Description
Translucent red, opaque white lead glass; brass; blown in a mold, cased, carved. Flattened circular bowl of translucent red glass overlaid with white glass and acid-etched and carved in a pattern of leaves and stems with two butterflies; band of white at top and base, stamped on base "STEVENS & WILLIAMS/ART GLASS/STOURBRIDGE"; brass collar with kerosene burner, wick raiser marked "IOC3ASMETAMMAMD/MOCKBA." Lamp Chimney. Colorless glass; machine made. Chimney is cylindrical at base, flares at lower middle, and narrows to cylindrical rim.
