Description
Celery Glass or Vase. Lead glass, slightly crizzled, colorless; blown-molded for decorative bands and free-blown; slender cylindrical bowl spreading at rim; applied short blade-knopped stem and flat circular foot with ground and polished pontil mark; on lower bowl baroque pattern GV-21; tapering ribs swirled to left on bottom and, on sides, similar ribs to right, single horizontal, scroll band; (tooled) incised horizontal lines giving ribbed effect to rim.
