Colorless with transparent yellow and deep red non-lead glasses; "Zanfirico" technique - rods gathered onto colorless, then blown. Thick-walled cylinder with two broadly flattened sides; lipless, ovoid narrowed opening; narrow shoulder curving into slightly tapered sides; overall decoration of transparent yellow vertical stripes overlaying colorless; extending from opening, opposite, on each broad side, two paired, uneven, dark red stripes extend down one-third of body; no foot; base ground flat and polished; ground pontil; inscribed in script "Salviati- Sergio Asti" on bottom of base, two original acetate labels on side near base "Vetri/um/Murano: Made in Italy/Salviati & C./ Murano".
