Description
Paperweight, "A Crystal Tribute". Colorless lead glass; flameworked and cased; enclosing multi-colored lampworked elements. Domed, circular form enclosing eight floral sprays, arranged in a ring of seven around one; the first letters of each flower spell out the name "HOUGHTON" (Heart flowers, Orange, U-shaped floral vine, Gardenia, Heart flowers, Tulips, Orange, Narcissus); tiny millefiori cane inscribed "DT" at the side; polished concave base.
