Primary Description: 
Cup. Translucent reddish purple. Body blown in dip mold; base and handle applied. Cup: roughly spheroid. Rim plain, with flattened top; neck short and cylindrical; body spheroid, but truncated at top and bottom; base is applied pad (Th. 0.4 cm) with rounded edge; pontil mark is irregular. Vertical ring handle with straplike cross section made by attaching trail to wall at greatest diameter, drawing it out and up and in, and attaching end to beginning of trail. Body is decorated with 16 vertical ribs extending from top to bottom of wall.
