Primary Description: 
Opaque black non-lead glass; pressed and firepolished. (a) Circular with smooth rim; pattern of scrolls with stippled background on exterior; scroll-like handle at one side; circular domed foot with serrated edge and waffle pattern underneath. (b) Flat circular saucer with edge of 16 large scallops; smooth, fire-polished upper surface; pattern on lower surface of scrolls with a stippled background; base ring is ground and polished; within the ring is a pattern of diamonds around an 8-pointed star.
