Description
Covered Urn. Colorless lead glass; blown, cut and engraved. Pear-shaped bowl with an applied short circular stem and an applied very heavy square foot, cut into shape; top rim is ground and polished, body is cut in vertical flutes and then engraved with a flowering vine; foot has large polished pontil mark underneath. Acid-stamped “SINCLAIRE” on one edge of base. Lid is circular, cut and engraved to match, with a large faceted knob.
