Primary Description: 
Brownish non-lead glass, red stain; flameworked glass, stained, diamond-tool engraved. Glass egg with small dark slightly iridized loop on one end; one side of egg has engraved decoration (through red stain) depicting a tall standing heron-like bird with long curved bill and crossed legs standing on a small island within a wetland landscape, scene is situated within oval format engraved to create matte background except for a narrow non-engraved stained inset outline; dimple on end of egg.
