Colorless lead glass, black wooden base, metal plaque; solid block of glass slumped into a mold. Solid rectangular block of glass resting on one short side, male lion head in high relief with matte finish decorates entire front side; all other surfaces ground and polished; glass rests on rectangular wooden block stained black and drilled for a light fixture; angled brass plaque resting against base inscribed in block letters: "THE ART ALLIANCE OF CONTEMPORARY GLASS/HONORS/CORNING MUSEUM FOR IT'S CONTRIBUTION/TO/THE CONTEMPORARY GLASS ART MOVEMENT/SEPTEMBER 22, 1989"; inscribed in block letters on side near base: "BEACH BROTHERS GLASS LTD."
