Description
Colorless non-lead, barium zinc glass; blown, hot-worked. Goblet with compote-style waisted bowl with widely flaring undulating rim, swirled optic-ribbing, fire-polished rim; solid tri-part stem with center spherical knop tapers towards foot (knop is decorated with two short lengths pulled up from lowest stem section); two asymmetrical looped handles (one is a compressed triple loop, the other is long curved bit overlapping a double loop) drawn from bits applied to base of bowl then attached to stem, applied hollow conical foot; rough pontil; unsigned.
