Primary Description: 
Colorless lead glass; blown, pressed, cut, engraved. Large cup-shaped bowl, decorated with an engraved floral border near the rim, a large oval panel on one side enclosing a maritime scene, with Britannia at the right, an angel blowing a trumpet overhead, a ship at sea, two men at the left, and a dove carrying a branch overhead, inscribed "PEACE / 1814" at the left, with oak branches at either side; on the reverse, a rope-bordered oval containing a cut star, with a garland of flowers above and two cornucopias of fruit at either side, a thistle, rose and shamrock suspended between them; merese at top of stem; pressed octagonal-domed square foot (facets cut), with molded rayed dome beneath ("lemon-squeezer" foot).
