Greenish-aqua non-lead glass, rubber, zinc; pressed, machined. (a) Disk-shaped glass lid impressed with concentric rings on top surface and inscribed, "MASON'S IMPROVED/PATENTED MAY 10, 1870"; (b) reddish rubber ring which acts as a gasket; (c) zinc ring with screw threads.
