Description
Colorless glass; blown, enameled, gilt. Bulbous vase with 8 ribs; narrow neck and wide ruffled rim. Interior decorated with enameled flowers of purple and red; exterior decorated with gilt web. Inscribed (enameled) on base: “RF / 588.”

Napoli, which was made only from 1894 to 1896, is a transparent glass with enamel ornament on the interior. Although the name would point to a European origin, the decoration is not based on Italian designs.
