Black, white, colorless glass; blown, cased and cut. Flat-sided, figure-8 shape blown of colorless glass lined with a thin layer of black, and then white; flat, polished sides, blown and tooled into a gourd-shape and then ground and polished on two opposite sides until both are open; upper half has an inner egg-shape section of white, black and colorless glass inserted into the opening which is widened at top into two prongs; ground and polished flat circular base signed "K. Pieper 1983" and "B. vase #26".
