Colorless, opaque white, polychrome non-lead glass; paperweight, transfer-printed (?). Domed, circular form, enclosing a square opaque white plaque bearing the transfer-printed portrait of George Washington, wearing a purple coat; with an edging of minute particles of multi-colored glass, and with a second, similar layer below; rough pontil mark; paper label inscribed "131" in ink.
