An influential teacher, Franz Xaver Höller (German, b. 1950) studied glass cutting before earning a degree in sculpture. Parchment is inspired by the forms and patterns of winter: the soft, undulating, slumped and engraved glass sheets recall a landscape newly covered with snow.
