Transparent dark blue lead glass; blown, cut, gilt. (a) Oval shape with straight sides; short, cylindrical neck with cut threading on the outside (for b), ground for a stopper inside (missing); rounded shoulders with gilt rays; the sides with panels decorated with a gilt pagoda on one side, an exotic bird on the other; framed by gilt linked half ovals; vertical bands of gilt ovals and dots and sinusoidal lines on the sides; polished, flat base. (b) Cylindrical shape with domed top and molded rim; engraved bands of ovals; engraved stylized flower on top; threading inside.
