Clear heavy glass; blown, acid-etched and ground. Flat plate with upcurving rim; scalloped and frosted rim, on the underside the large coat-of-arms of the royal House of England, surrounded by "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN LONG MAY SHE REIGN Elizabeth R 1953", all in frosted acid-etching.
