Colorless lead glass; blown, engraved. Cylindrical, slightly tapered shape; sides with copper-wheel engraved decoration of a hop blossom and two leaves; reverse: two ears of barley and leaves, and a foliate band above inscription: "BURGOYNE / & HOUGHTON"; flat base with polished pontil mark on underside.
