Primary Description: 
Opaque white lead (?) glass; blown and painted. Long, cylindrical form, with rounded knob ends, one open to the hollow interior; painted decoration, including ships with sails and side paddle-wheel, at either side of a gold inscription "Love the Giver" between gold scrolls; inscribed in ribbands below the ship at the right: "THE GREAT EASTERN / THE SHIP MOORD / THE WAGES PAID / WELCOME THE SAILORS" (parts rubbed and not entirely legible); the inscription below the ship at the left illegible.
