Description
Colorless glass; molded and cut, imitating a Japanese straw rice bale. (a) Upstanding collar, cut in six panels, with rim cut flat; barrel-shape body divided by narrow uncut band into two sections of adjoined leaf-like motifs with diamond shapes in relief and cross-hatched; barrel ends molded in receding ridge, ending in cut eight-pointed star motif; rectangular flat base with slightly rounded corners; brilliant polish; (b) disk of uncut glass, on a tiny stem.
