Primary Description: 
Colorless glass; blown, tooled, cut, ground, engraved, polished; sterling silver; assembled. Large tear-drop shaped vase with a flared silver rim and circular silver foot, both stamped "Sterling". Cut along the lower body and engraved with a ship in the mid-body; the engraving is signed "Sidot" below the waves; just above the silver base "Samuel Hawkes" is engraved.
