Description
Small Bowl with Ring-and-Dot Motifs. Transparent emerald green, with dark inclusions. Blown; pincered. Miniature bowl. Rim plain, with rather irregular, rounded lip; wall almost straight, with slight tooled impression below rim; base plain, with kick; pontil mark roughly circular (D. 1.1 cm). Wall is decorated with one continuous horizontal row of six unevenly spaced, identical pincered ring-and-dot motifs. Each motif (H. about 1.7 cm, W. about 2 cm) has flat oval dot at center, surrounded by raised concentric ring. Surfaces behind pincered motifs are plain and slightly recessed.
