Snuff Bottle and Stopper-cap. (a) Opaque milk-white glass with red overlay; blown, cased, ground and carved. Flattened circular body; short neck flaring slightly to a ground rim; overlay on both obverse and reverse of tendril motifs suggestive of hydra, above what appear to be partial and distorted elements of longevity symbol; shallow oval foot-rim, partially cased in red. (b) Hemispherical stopper-cap of transparent bluish-green glass.
