Vase. Clear glass with dark tinge; free blown, engraved and cut; bell-shaped foot with short knop stem on top supporting the straight sided bowl with curved bottom and flaring scalloped rim; on the bowl the naval engagement of the "Monitor" and the "Merrimac" within an arbor-like frame with vintage decoration, on the foot a circle of vintage decoration.
