Description
Translucent amber iridescent lead glass (gold Aurene); blown, iridized. Circular flared rim tapers and swells to shoulder and tapers to base; ground pontil mark; metal electrical attachment rests atop homemade circular wooden top; glass vase rests atop Chinese-style wooden pedestal; (b) colorless, lead glass cased with transparent amber, lead glass with laminated layer of bubbles and swirling black, blue, green, gold and red inclusions; blown. Conical shape; circular upper rough ground rim flares to large circular lower rim; rough outer acid-etched surface. (a) Gold Aurene base is Design #2683; (b) lampshade is design #8528; or random shape to try feasibility of glass technique.
