Description
Colorless glass; bronze base; blown, enameled, cut. Cylindrical shape; enameled and gilt design at rim of band with sawtooth design and crosses within circles; six larger triangular designs descend below rim decoration at regular intervals; engraved oriental scene of house in landscape, fishermen on boat, two birds in sky; signed in gold enamel on base "Escalier de Cristal Paris"; bronze base consists of geometrical motif, two dragons on openwork stylized floral background with abstract organic motif band at base; three dragon-like creatures act as feet.
