Web Description: 
The metal mount for this vase was made by Edouard Colonna (German, 1862–1948), who produced several mounts for Tiffany vases although this is the only one known to have survived. The enameling was done by Eugène Feuillatre (French, 1870–1916).

Primary Description: 
Translucent reddish glass with applied iridescence; silver gilt mount with plique-a-jour enamel and set rubies. Small vase with bulbous lower body and long, thin, cylindrical neck. The body is decorated overall with golden iridescence in peacock trailings. A silver gilt mount encircles the long neck with ear-shaped plique-a-jour enamel decoration at the top and six rubies inset in various locations on the mount.
