Catharine Newell lectures, teaches, and exhibits internationally, and was nominated for the Louis Comfort Tiffany Biennial Award in 2003. Her distinct figurative work, which examines the persistence of memory and its impact on relationships, was selected for New Glass Review 26 and can be seen in many permanent collections, including the Swedish Hospital in Seattle and the Bullseye Corporate Collection. Newell maintains a private studio in Portland, OR.
