Biography: Dave Murray
Dave Murray joined The Corning Museum of Glass in 2011 as the operations manager. In this role, he manages and maintains all Museum buildings and properties, and supervises internal services and external contracts for maintenance. He also oversees all major construction projects on Museum property.
Prior to joining the Museum, Murray was the director of facilities and grounds for the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District for 12 years. Before that, he was the mountain manager for the Ski Valley Ski Club in Naples, NY; facilities manager for The Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor, MI; and managing partner at Murray Farms/Large Fruit Farm in Northern Lower, MI.
Murray holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History from New College, Sarasota, FL. He also completed graduate work in Education and Public Administration at Nazareth College and SUNY Brockport.
