Biography: Jamie Perian
Jamie Perian first discovered glass as an art student at Rowan University in Southern New Jersey. Her love for the material grew when she learned glassblowing techniques while interning at Hot Soup Studio and Gallery in Philadelphia. In addition to working with many artists throughout the United States, Perian has worked on the production team at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Centre and has assisted in beginning glassblowing classes in Philadelphia and at The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass. Perian currently lives in Corning, where she works at the Hot Glass Show of The Corning Museum of Glass and pursues her passion for creating and learning with glass.
