Mare Saare

Mare Saare is the head of the department of glass at Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn. She teaches engraving, stained glass, and fusing techniques, and has initiated several glass projects. She works with fusing techniques, acid-etching, engraving, cutting, stained and painted glass, and photoprint, and has participated in numerous international exhibitions and workshops. Saare’s works can be found in public collections in Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Japan, Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, the Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
