Pavlína Čambalová studied gem cutting and engraving at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Turnov, Czech Republic. She had a chance to try glass engraving at the Symposium of Applied Arts Schools. Čambalová fell in love with glass, and studied Art Glass at the Higher Glass School in Nový Bor, Czech Republic. She currently works as a glass engraver for the Lobmeyr Company in Vienna, Austria. In her engraved objects, she has used combinations of various materials, including blown glass, optical lenses, and forged steel. In 2011, Čambalová co-taught with Jiří Harcuba at the Summer Academy Bild-Werk Frauenau, Germany.
