This course is designed to create a relaxed, safe, and fun environment for students who have little to no hot glassworking experience. In order to learn the basic skills of glassblowing, students will participate in a series of exercises to build confidence and coordination at the bench. The class will then move on to explore different forms and techniques that will give students a better understanding of molten glass and its properties. No glassworking experience is required.
