This intermediate level course will focus on the many ways to incorporate color into objects made at the furnace. Techniques covered in the class will include: use of frits, powders, and color bar; graal, incalmo, mixed media inclusions, and an introduction to cane and murrine techniques. Some color will be provided, however students should also bring their own. Students should bring drawings of suggested forms to work on or to see demonstrated. This class meets on Tuesday evenings for 10 weeks beginning March 7. Some glassblowing experience required.

Jeremy Unterman

Jeremy Unterman began working with glass in 1999. He earned a BFA from the Tyler School of Art, and is currently a member of the technical team at The Studio.
