This course will present various color working techniques and teach students to infuse their glassmaking with color. The class will focus on various types of incalmo work; the hot joining of two or more separate blown sections of glass to create vessel forms. Different methods of color applications, such as color overlays, working with several different colors in one piece, etc. will be explored. Other immediate to advanced level techniques will be pursued, depending on student interests and abilities. Two years of glassblowing experience required.
