In this advanced glassblowing course, the objectives will be to build a solid foundation, refine skills, work more efficiently, and establish an understanding of how working on a small scale can translate into larger works. Students will work in clear focusing on basic forms such as the tumbler, cylinder, bowl, and bottle, moving logically from one shape to the next. Instruction will be personalized to build on individual skills, and one-on-one time will be given to help find simple solutions to common struggles. Two years of glassblowing experience are required.
