This class is for students who have admired the shimmer on a live fish or hummingbird and wished they could recreate the effect in glass. Students will explore new techniques and exotic materials while creating brilliant creatures. Using powders and dichroics, color bars, cast murrini, and other premade elements, students will learn to plan and design work that is “truly wild.” No glassworking experience is required.
