February 9 - 14, 2015
Sandblasting and Painting
All Levels
One-Week Session

This image-making class is inspired by printmaking. You will develop graphic images by combining sandblasting and enameling. During the class, you will learn how to model light using stage sandblasting, the making of hand cut and photo resist stencils, painting, filling, and fusing with enamels and powders. Complex designs will be created by fusing multiple imaged layers into a fused block. No glassworking experience is required.

*Note: If you would like two weeks of in-depth study with Denise Stillwaggon Leone, please apply for this and the session prior to this one.
