Jeremy Unterman began working with glass in 1999. He received a B.F.A. from the Tyler School of Art, and is currently a member of the technical team at The Studio.
This course will introduce students to the processes used to make a variety of glass cane styles and how to incorporate them into solid and blown forms. Students will begin by creating the simplest single-color core cane, and then move on to more complex cane styles. Students may bring drawings to class. Some glassblowing experience is required.
