This introductory class, which meets on Tuesday evenings, will cover everything you need to know to begin casting on a small scale, with a work area no larger than your kitchen table. From pattern making to finished product, this class is designed to cover all the basics. Through a series of small projects, we will explore pattern creation, mold production, selective color application, firing, and finishing. You can expect to leave with a solid understanding of the casting process and the ability to begin to work independently with confidence. No glassworking experience is required.
